David Ron joins as Chief Financial Officer, Chris Nelson as Chief Revenue Officer, and Anne Acosta as Vice President of Marketing

Kogniz announces appointments of David Ron as Chief Financial Officer, Chris Nelson as Chief Revenue Officer, and Anne Acosta as Vice President of Marketing to prepare for the next stage of company growth. The news comes on the tails of the launch of new products that expand upon its holistic all-in-one health response platform.
As Chief Financial Officer, David Ron plays a crucial role to enable an aggressive growth strategy while facilitating operational excellence as the company scales its business. David joins Kogniz with an industry recognized track record of scaling technology companies and achievement of highly successful outcomes. Most notable are his recent roles as CFO at Krux Digital Inc., a leading data management platform, where he steered the company from startup through the M&A process to an $800 million acquisition by Salesforce and with Truvalue Labs, an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data provider, where he navigated the company from the startup phase through acquisition by FactSet Research Systems. David also held financial leadership roles in various firms such as Centaur Partners, where he was Director of Technology Investment Banking, and Rapt, Inc., acquired by Microsoft, where he served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. David received his BS in Business Administration and International Management at Boston University, and his MBA from Suffolk University.
Chris Nelson serves as the Chief Revenue Officer to lead the Kogniz’ sales and go to market organization. He will focus on expanding into new markets and will continue to grow the use cases for Kogniz’ solutions within the current customer base. Chris has more than 20 years of experience leading high-performing, fast growth sales teams. Previously at Zerto, Chris served as the Vice President of Sales for the Americas. Prior to Zerto, Chris has served in various sales leadership roles at Hitachi Ventara, Quantum Corporation, and MSC Software. He holds a BA in from Penn State University.
Anne Acosta leads Kogniz’ marketing strategy to poise the company for widespread brand recognition and growth. Prior to Kogniz, Anne was the Senior Director of Marketing and Product Marketing at Truvalue Labs, now a FactSet company, where she developed strategies to raise the company from an unknown startup to a globally recognized leader in ESG data, resulting in acquisition. Previously, Anne held multiple product marketing leadership roles at FinTech enterprise solutions provider, SS&C Advent, where she helped both established and acquired businesses with positioning and integrated marketing strategies for growth. Anne also played key roles at Procter & Gamble and Thomson Reuters in North America, Europe and Asia. She holds a BA in Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs from Miami University and an MBA in Marketing and Global Business Management from the University of Texas at Austin.
